At the very end of last summer 2021, right before school started, we squeezed in a quick trip to the White Mountain area, specifically Glen New Hampshire, to stay at the Golden Apple Inn and visit Storyland.
Storyland was a total hit with the kids, as usual.
We learned this trip that Jake is quite the little dare devil who wanted to go on ALL the rides.
Back at the hotel we spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool, which was probably the highlight of the trip for everyone. We had it entirely to ourselves. Once we were thoroughly cooled off, we got changed and spent some time at the hotels small playground.
We got takeout for dinner from Tuckerman’s Restaurant and Tavern. This is my favorite restaurant in the North Conway area. 100 percent recommend.
We were happy to be able to make it to Storyland this year since we hadn’t been since our trip in 2019.
